The Scouting journey
Five sections, one adventure
Scouting grows with your child — every section builds on the last, developing independence, leadership and outdoor skill along the way.
Ages 5–7
Joey Scouts
Games, craft and first adventures in a safe, playful environment.
Ages 8–10Cub Scouts
Small-pack teamwork, badge work and the first taste of camping.
Ages 11–14Scouts
Patrol-led hikes, camps and Outdoor Adventure Skills progression.
Ages 15–17Venturer Scouts
Youth-led expeditions, the Queen's/King's Scout Award and real responsibility.
Ages 18–25Rover Scouts
Independent adventure, mentoring and giving back to the Movement.
